Compton and Up Marden CofE Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is four to 11. There is a hard surfaced play area and a large terraced field. The school is in an idyllic setting, the surrounding countryside being designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. The school has a computer suite consisting of seven RM computers all networked and connected to the internet. Each class also has up to two computers available for general use. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey and rugby. The school aims to provide a stimulating and lively environment in order to motivate the children, extend their natural curiosity, showing respect and value for their work whilst encouraging high standards of presentation.
