Background:

St Peter's Catholic Primary School was originally founded in 1885. The school has modern buildings and provides seven classes, a hall, a library and an ICT suite. The grounds have been developed to provide shade, a quiet garden, a meadow area and a play area. St Peter's covers the three Parishes of Forest Row, East Grinstead and Lingfield. It has an active school association and strong community links. The children support a variety of charities, including the Catholic Children's Society. The school has achieved silver eco-school status. As well as national curriculum subjects there are several other school activities including French, football, netball, rugby, athletics, cricket and karate.
