Background:
Worthing High School is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 12 to 16. It is situated in an urban environment. The building was originally Victorian, but has undergone a number of extensions. There is a new maths and technology, block and refurbished music and language areas. The school has a full size sports hall, fully equipped gymnasium/dance studio, in addition to a rugby and football pitch on the main site. It also provides four high quality tennis courts, two further tennis courts and outdoor basketball. The school maintains broad and balanced curriculum. It provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: cricket, badminton, gymnastics, 5-a-side football, rugby, trampolining, athletics, netball, tennis, rounders and football. The school aims to provide a happy, secure and stimulated environment.
