Background:
St Andrew's C.E. High School is for boys. It takes boys from the age of 12 to 16. The school has Two art rooms, with facilities for both 2D and 3D work, and a drama studio, a music room, equipped for music technology, with adjacent practice rooms and recording studio, Modern, well equipped technology rooms and science laboratories. The school has wide network of fast computers all linked to the Internet. The school has a large sports hall, fitness training room, gymnasium, hard tennis courts, a floodlit synthetic turf pitch and playing fields. The curriculum is challenging and stimulating. It is delivered by highly qualified, specialist and committed staff. Extension work is provided in lessons and we enrich the curriculum in many ways: music, sport, visits, extra-curricular clubs and activities. Pupils with learning difficulties are supported wherever possible within the normal life and work of the school in order to participate fully in the curriculum. The school encourages pupils to work hard, join in, respect and value each other, explore Christian beliefs and values, and contribute to the community.
