Background:
Durrington Middle School is a West Sussex county council maintained school catering from eight to 12 years old. The school has superb facilities with science laboratory, art and technology studio and music room. The school also has a multi-purpose hall, at the centre of the school. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These include netball, football, rugby, cricket and gymnastics. Sports personalities from local teams visit the school from time to time and the school organises and hosts an annual weekend six-a-side football tournament for all schools in the area. The school aims to be a caring community of life-long learners, focused on children's learning.
