Opened in 1972, the school building is 'of modern design but not open plan'. Facilities include a hall with gymnastic equipment, a library and seven classrooms, each of which has access to a shared activity area. The school offers hard surfaced playgrounds with garden areas, and an adjacent playing field. Children have the opportunity to take part in a range of extra-curricular activities including football, netball, athletics, guitar, choir, keep fit, ICT and country dancing, and to participate in local music festivals.
