Background:
Itchingfield Primary School is situated in beautiful countryside on two sites. The Infant Department is situated in Barns Green and the Junior Department housed at Itchingfield. The Infant School built in 1970 and has three classrooms, a hall and library area. The grounds are substantial with a lovely garden and pond. The Junior School in a Victorian building dating from 1854 has very large playing field, pond, woodland and medieval hedge. There are two classrooms in the main building and a hutted classroom. A separate canteen is used at lunchtime. Preliminary visits are arranged in the term before admission and various extra-curricular activities are available to junior children after-school.
