Halsford Park is a primary school taking children from 4 to 11 years. The school was opened in 1958 and has two halls, Key Stage 1 and 2 libraries, an early years department, information and communication technology suite, special educational needs base, Performing Arts department and music room. The school is fortunate in possessing spacious grounds, which provide excellent games, and recreational facilities, which are used as additional learning areas. There are conservation areas, which includes a wildlife pond, and area. The school curriculum has core subjects including mathematics, English and science and foundation subjects including music, art, sport and drama. The school aims to provide a stimulating environment, which enables each child to achieve their potential.
